Frog Pond Llamas and Suri Alpacas is offering a way for small and/or new breeders to get a step up above the rest by taking advantage of Frog Pond’s years of experience and success. It’s never easy starting up a new business but it doesn’t have to be difficult anymore. Frog Pond has been blessed to have had, what I consider to be the greatest individuals in our industry as mentors over the years and this is one way that I feel I can give back and continue on the knowledge of years and years of camelid breeding experience that has been passed down to me. So, what is the partnership program all about?

What is the partnership program?

1) You provide the female; we provide the stud.

2) We co-own the cria

3) Dam owner takes possession of the dam after female has been bred at Frog Pond.

4) Dam owner births cria and raises until weaned

5) At the time of weaning, Frog Pond will take possession of partnership cria

6) Frog Pond will market cria on farm and continue to raise cria.

7) Any show expenses must be agreed up by both partners of cria

8) Then, the animal is either sold off the farm or at public auction
